OCCASIONAL COURSES TO CREATE YOUR OWN POTS, SCULPTURES AND OTHER ARTIFACTS
Running for 6 weeks
Cost: $120 (includes clay)
All Hand building – no throwing.
Students need to bring their own small wooden board to work on and 2 modelling tools which will be available at Frendz. Other tools will be available. Firing will be at the end of the 6 weeks for a small fee.
For work I have done in the past, have a look at the “archive”section on my website: www.lesleywhithamart.com.au. The course focuses on non functional pieces so class members can finish their work using various unglazed finishes.

CLAY WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS
8 week course
Cost $130 includes clay
Hand built pots and other decorative item
Suitable for children 7 years+ and beginner adults.
Course includes how to coil a pot, how to make a slab pot,
pinch pot and how to apply many decorative elements.
The work can be fired at a fee of approx. $3 per piece . Your creative pieces can be decorated in many ways.
Students are required to bring:
Small wooden board 20cm -30cm approx. to work on.
(An old chopping board would suffice !)
Some tools as discussed at 1st lesson. (cost around $10)
We will also discuss the uses of different clays.

Learn how to build a decorative pot using the coiling method
Bring your own wooden board approx. 40 x 40 cm
